Board Candidacy Advisory
Engagement terms
Version v5-2026-06
The engagement
These terms are between you and Axentia Global Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN 202614188W). These terms are accepted at checkout and govern the engagement.
The Board Candidacy Advisory produces two documents from one engagement: a Board Candidacy Profile of two pages, written for you to circulate to Chairs, and a Private Advisory Report of nine pages, written for you alone. The assessment is built from a ninety minute candidacy interview and an evidence audit. Both documents are delivered ten to twelve working days after the interview, followed by a review session of sixty minutes and one round of revision within thirty days of delivery. All timelines are stated in working days.
Independence
The engagement is fenced from Axentia’s client search work by the following terms:
- Participation provides no introductions and no preferential consideration of any kind.
- Axentia does not send your profile anywhere and does not represent you to boards. The profile is yours to circulate.
- Participation provides no inclusion on any Axentia client mandate.
- For twelve months after completion, Axentia will not proactively present you on any Axentia managed board search.
- After that period, any prior advisory relationship is disclosed to the client in writing before your identity is shared, and your written consent is obtained.
- Executives who have been candidates in an Axentia search within the last twelve months cannot be accepted for this engagement.
Data handling and retention
At checkout we collect your full name, email address, phone number, current location, LinkedIn profile URL, and current or most recent title and organisation. These details are used only to deliver the engagement.
We keep a terms-acceptance record consisting of your typed name, a UTC timestamp, your IP address, your browser user agent, the terms version and a SHA-256 hash of these terms. This record is kept as evidence that the engagement terms were agreed.
Engagement materials, including the interview record, the assessment and both delivered documents, are deleted twelve months after completion of the engagement unless you ask us in writing to retain them.
Payment is processed by Stripe. No card details touch our servers at any point. Email to you is sent via Resend, and internal notifications are delivered via Web3Forms.
Under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to rs@axentiaglobal.com.
Fee, payment and refunds
The fee is fixed at USD 2,250 and is paid in full at checkout in USD. Payments are processed securely by Stripe on behalf of Axentia Global Pte. Ltd., Singapore, with whom the engagement is contracted. Refunds are issued through the same channel. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
- We run a conflict check within two working days of purchase. If we cannot act for you, or if we decline the engagement for any reason before the candidacy interview, you receive a full refund.
- If you withdraw from the engagement before the candidacy interview has taken place, you receive a full refund.
- If we cannot deliver the engagement, you receive a full refund.
- If the engagement lapses because the candidacy interview has not taken place within ninety days of purchase, the fee is refunded less payment processing costs.
- Once the candidacy interview has taken place, the fee is non-refundable. A verdict of not yet is not grounds for a refund.
- Refunds are processed within ten working days.
- The engagement includes one round of revision within thirty days of delivery.
- All delivery timelines are estimates made in good faith, not contractual deadlines.
Nature of the advice
The engagement delivers a professional opinion, not a guarantee of any outcome, including any board appointment. Nothing in the engagement constitutes legal, financial, tax or employment advice. Axentia’s total liability arising from the engagement is capped at the fee paid. Nothing in these terms limits rights you hold under applicable consumer law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
Questions
Will this get me a board seat?
No, and no honest adviser can promise that. The engagement produces a profile a Chair can act on and a private assessment of where you are credible. Appointment decisions belong to boards.
What happens after I pay?
We run a conflict check within two working days. Once cleared, we send scheduling options for your ninety minute candidacy interview with the Managing Partner. Both documents are delivered ten to twelve working days after the interview, followed by your review session.
Is the fee refundable if the verdict is not yet?
No. You are paying for an honest assessment, not a favourable one. A not yet verdict arrives with the gaps that produced it and what closes each one. Full refunds apply only if we cannot proceed after the conflict check, or if you withdraw before the interview.
Will my employer know?
We never contact your employer or disclose the engagement, unless you ask us to or the law requires it.
Do you introduce clients to boards?
We run board searches for client companies, which is exactly why this engagement is fenced. Participation gives you no access to those mandates, and for twelve months after completion we will not proactively present you on any Axentia managed search.
